My lack of knowing Spanish saved my life once
I lived in El Paso growing up, and I was pretty much the only Asian kid in a heavily Mexican populated area. Deadass, I might as well have told people I came from Mexico. I don’t even consider El Paso as a part of Texas.
But yeah.
I was chilling with my neighbor doing ignorant kid shit like riding bikes and throwing rocks at passing cars while hiding behind fences when this broke ass car...
